German Pioneer Wire cutters - 1937

The German army through both wars equipped their pioneers with a wide arrangement of tools including these 1937 bolt cutters, built from steel and wood the handles were often treated with a thick water proof sap that would protect the handles from rotting in wet environments.
This was a 1 hour test from start to finish with 15 minutes extra for presentation prep to see what sort of quality I can create with small props, I am fairly happy with the overall final product however I did struggle with merging the bolts into the handle so I think I need to reproach that in future attempts to make sure I learn more efficient ways to make shapes such as that.
